WWII - Herald and Review Library; Engle, Forrest W., 4/23/1944. Article on back of photo: "..have been living in Texas, came with him to visit his parents. Forrest W. Engle, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Engle, 2341 East Eldorado street, graduated as a fighter pilot at Foster Field, Texas. He is a former employee of the A. E. Staley Mfg. Co. and entered service in January, 1943. He is now spending a furlough with his parents."
